Foto Friday : Hearts

OK, so I've just discovered Foto Friday (Thanks, Marine Corps Nomad ! :) ) and while I didn't exactly participate in the challenge I hope that it is ok to share this photo that I took 3.5 years ago on a cross country trip.... I had great plans to use it as a valentine the following February, but life interfered, so I'd love to share it now. :)

Location: Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, CO.

Thanks for letting me play. Now that I've discovered this challenge, I hope to actually REALLY participate every now and again! :)

Blessings~

Oh, how cool! As you can tell from my entry, I love finding stuff like that in nature. **grin**

It took me a second to see it (pregnant and slow-thats me!), but that is SO neat!

I'll be honest and say I don't know know the technical terms, but for the babies picture, I cut a heart in a piece of black construction paper and taped it to the end of my camera, and for the "spinning" hearts, I punched heart shaped holes in another piece of black paper, and taped it to the end of a flashlight.
Hope that answers your questions! :0D

Great entry!

As for your question about the fingerless gloves...the finished glove is really a straight cylinder. So when you first make your starting chain just make sure it fits around your four fingers (the pattern works from the top of the glove going down) and it will fit you perfect!
